There's no doubt that Qualcomm Snapdragon processors are dominating the Android market, with it likely to be a continuous cycle for years to come. Not only has Snapdragon processors featured in flagship smartphones, but they've also appeared in budget smartphones. With the success of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+, featuring in the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, it is exciting to see what phones will feature the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. As you can see from the image above, there is a hefty line-up of companies taking on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Popular Android smartphone companies like Motorola, OnePlus and Xiaomi have all officially announced their next-gen flagship smartphones will be released with Qualcomm's latest flagship chipset. The Moto X40 from Motorola will feature the new chipset along with OnePlus announcing that the OnePlus 11 series will be among the first to launch with the new chipset. Oppo is also among the list and have confirmed that we’ll see it in the Oppo Find X6 series, which will launch early next year. Whilst there is no official announcement from Samsung that the Galaxy S23 range will feature it, it has been heavily rumoured and according to reports, the two companies have signed a deal through to 2030.
